You can keep adding horsepower to a heavy car to make it faster, but that doesn’t always equate to great handling. Improving the power-to-weight ratio helps a car go faster, but its mass betrays it in the twisties. In comes Radical’s most advanced version of its lightweight SR3 track toy, named the SR3 XX. While it utilizes the same four-cylinder 195-226 horsepower engine from the SR3, the XX gets modified with new electrical architecture, a Quaife limited-slip differential, racing exhaust, and an AiM solid-state power management system that processes electrical data and telemetry faster and more efficiently while cutting 65% weight saving. All of this should make the XX even more capable of insane lap times than the original SR3. 0-60 comes in 3.1 seconds, and it tops out at 147 mph. The best part is the 2.3g of lateral force, which is more than 2 times the force exhibited by the new Corvette C8.
