There’s just something about an old school Toyota Land Cruiser that checks all the boxes for us. You can find plenty of great restomods and rebuilds out there if you’re willing to look hard enough, but few are going to be as good as this Custom 79 Series Land Cruiser Pickup from Proffitt’s Resurrection Land Cruisers out of Colorado. This is due partially to the fact that the entire 70 Series of Land Cruiser models isn’t available in the USA. Resurrection Land Cruisers gets around that by mating the 79 Series body to a U.S.-legal 1993 FZJ80 chassis and a Cummins R2.8 engine. Put all that together with plenty of custom work, a 5-speed manual transmission, electronic locking differentials, ARB front bumper, Rigid lighting and upgraded suspension to get the absolute beaut of a pickup truck you see here. Whether you’re cruising the streets or tackling the trails, this truck is up to the task.
