Putting your bike on a kickstand in the middle of your bedroom isn’t exactly the ideal storage location, what with getting around and all. Sure if you have a garage you’re all set, but for the city folk and apartment dwellers there are far better places to store your fixed gear. One option that receives our endorsement is Perch from ClankWorks. Perch is like a little piece of wooden magic (that’s what she said). Mount it on your wall and you can suspend your bike from its tire while also storing your biking gear (helmet, lock, etc). Perch is crafted from four separate layers of plywood and it accommodates bikes with tires up to 2.0″. The good news—it’s awesome. The bad news—there’s 50 of them (at least in the initial run) and we have a lot of bikes.
