We’ve seen quite a few iconic, excellent and stupidly expensive cars roll across the block during RM Sotheby’s auctions, but we’ve never seen one that was once owned by the iconic Steve Jobs. That’s right, you have the opportunity to own Steve Jobs 2000 BMW Z8. An iconic automobile in its own right, Jobs was reportedly talked into purchasing the 67th customer version of the car by Larry Ellison (of Oracle) because “the paragon of modern automotive engineering and ergonomics was reflective of Steve’s own products and psyche.” This gorgeous 2000 BMW Z8 will be auctioned off during the New York – ICONS 2017 auction on December 6th of this year. It’s being sold without reserve, but it’s expected to raise at least $300 – $400k. Seeing as how it once belonged to Steve Jobs and still has the original BMW-branded Motorola flip-phone it came with, we’d say this car is a steal at that price.
