Unhappy with the fact that the past two decades have seen the bicycle manufacturing industry disappear almost completely from Europe, twin brothers Bob and Tom Schiller set out to bring manufacturing back to The Netherlands with Mokumono Cycles. Taking pages out of the automotive manufacturing playbook, Mokumono developed an innovative, automated production process to create their unique frames, using two mirrored pieces of aluminum welded together by a robotic 3D laser. The frame is designed with floating rear stays and a carbon fiber front fork to ensure it’s strong and lightweight while still giving you a smooth ride.
