Do you like cars? Do you like pickup trucks? Do you wish there was a German version of the El Camino? We can’t imagine anyone ever having a serious conversation about producing a modern, German version of the El Camino, but that didn’t stop a class of students and instructors at the BMW headquarters from creating a one-off pickup based on the Mini Cooper S Paceman. Mini won’t really go into specifics about the project dubbed the Paceman Adventure Concept, but we were unable to find a few details. It’s powered by a turbocharged 1.6L four-cylinder engine. It’s got the ALL4 AWD system. It sits on a modified chassis with additional ground clearance, has a pickup bed, offroad tires and roof rack, and a snorkel air intake. If this thing ever actually saw production we might be tempted to buy one.
