There’s something wrong about buying a surfboard from someone who doesn’t surf, it’s like buying diet pills from someone who looks like they haven’t seen the inside of a gym in a decade.  When you purchase a surfboard, skateboard or snowboard from MakerUSA not only will you first and foremost get an amazing piece of art, but you’ll get a board performance tested by an industry sportsman.  Okay, so back to the designs – they’re insane!  MakerUSA collaborates with local and well-known artists (including graphic designers, street artists, painters and tattoo artists) to create boards your buddies will be jealous of.  They also make it a point to be sustainable, utilizing FCS certified woods and veneers and working with local lumberyards.  Plus, the boards themselves are recyclable, as in after you smash it one day you can just put it on display in your house.
