Three years ago at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Lexus unveiled a production coupe based on the LF-FC concept that everyone thought would be impossible to make work. It was called the LEXUS LC 500, and the car changed the way we thought about the traditionally boring brand. It was fast, aggressively styled and, most importantly, was a helluva lot of fun to drive. Lexus is re-injecting some of that over-the-top luxury into the 2020 Lexus LC 500 Inspiration Series Car. Mechanically, nothing changes. It’s the same naturally-aspirated, 5.0-liter V8 with 471 horsepower and a 10-speed automatic transmission. Cosmetically, it’s even more of a showstopper than its predecessors. Exclusive Nori Green Pearl paint job that complements the striking lines of the vehicle and accents the two-tone wheels exceptionally. Inside, it gets Bespoke Saddle Tan leather accented by darker Alcantara trim on the door panels and Black Amber leather on the console. With production capped at just 100 units in the United States, this limited edition variant is sure to be hard to find and carry a heftier price tag.
