Karma SC2 Vision Concept Coupe

Karma SC2 Vision Concept Coupe

Forget everything you know about the now-defunct Fisker Automotive and their Fisker Karma electric sedan built by Henrik Fisker. Karma Automotive took Fisker tech and design elements from Fisker and created a new company that’s Chinese-owned and California-based. They’re carving out their own space in the exotic electric car market with the SC2 Vision Concept Coupe, and it’s fresh, fast, and futuristic. 1,100 horsepower from two electric motors rocket the SC2 to 60 mph in under two seconds, and a 120kWh battery provides 350 miles of range. Even more impressive than the power are the huge scissor-style doors that occupy most of the body length and open to a totally impractical height. More than just quick in a straight line, the SC2 is outfitted with racing suspension, carbon-ceramic brakes, and torque vectoring. In terms of tech, the SC2 gets biometric seats, autonomous capability, and the ability to record drives that can be shared. Whether or not it will go into production remains to be seen.
