We can count how many Land Rover customs Project Kahn has built that we do not like with a closed fist (as in zero). The Kahn Design Land Rover Defender 90 Flying Huntsman Homage II perfectly encapsulates everything we’ve come to love and even expect from the brand–an old school vehicles transformed into something completely remarkable and modern. As you might have already noticed, the most notable part of the transformation is the pristine yellow paint job with quilted leather interior, the black soft top, Defender roll cage and Defend 1984 Heritage steel wheels. It also got an over 8″ overhaul added to the standard 90″ wheelbase, a new front grill, light sets, and custom pieces like a center console, dashboard, grab handles, door panels, headliner, sun visors and, well, the whole interior got an overhaul. It might not be as absurd as the Project Kahn Flying Huntsman 6×6 Land Rover Defender in every aspect except the paint job, but that’s why we like this particular vehicle so much. It keeps the Land Rover charm, style and built quality while adding just the right amount of defiance.
