Jaguar is ready to marry the old and the new with the coming launch of the E-type Zero. While it’s an all-electric sportscar, the body looks plucked from an era when such an idea only existed in sci-fi literature. That’s because Jaguar modeled the E-type Zero after the sexy-as-hell E-type from the 1960s. Yup, the same car that Enzo Ferrari dubbed one of the most beautiful in the world is the inspiration behind the new E-type Zero. The two-seater hits 62 mph from a stand still in just 5.5 seconds, meaning it’s basically a little rocketship with a range of around 170 miles. When you can actually put your butt in the seat is unkown, but we’re pretty antsy.
