At some point, we’ve all thought about what would happen to a movie or a TV show if the cars the characters used were switched up. Markus Hammarberg of Stockholm Design decided to make that idea a reality by re-envisioning the vehicles from Jurassic World/Jurassic Park as if Land Rover was the automotive partner. Posted on his popular Island Defender Instagram, the Land Rover Defender 100 ‘Predator’ is a new version of the Asset Containment Unit (ACU) vehicle from the films that’s completely decked out with everything you’d need to track, trap and tranquilize a dinosaur on the loose. In addition to the “Proprietary InGen Twin-Turret loaded with Fossil Powered DanInject 50cal tranquilizer guns” that sit on top, you’ll find a roll cage, roof rack, 38″ Maxxis mud tires, Hutchinson beadlock wheels, a 2″ lift kit and a Warn Zeon Platinum 10,000lb winch. Outside of the obvious things you don’t need, because dinosaurs are extinct (for now!), most of this vehicle is actually possible which just makes it even cooler.
