We’re all for BMW rolling out new R nineT motorcycles, but it’s the custom work that shops all over the world are doing with the platform that really gets us excited. The BMW R nineT 2shot from Gasoline Motor Co. out of Waterloo, Sydney, is one of those incredible custom builds. As you can immediately tell, hundreds of hours and plenty of parts went into the transformation of this bike from stock to Restoration Hardware-style rocket ship on two wheels. Standard foot pegs to rear sets. Factory handlebars to clip-ons. Tailored seat customized for the owners height and stance. Roland Sands Designs signature breast plate and valve covers. And then there’s all the hand-beaten and rolled aircraft grade 6061 aluminum alloy that makes up the fairing, shark tail section, fender and tank. This is the kind of bike that makes you feel like you’re starring in a movie every time you ride it.
