Rent a 50th Anniversary Ford Shelby GT-H

Rent a 50th Anniversary Ford Shelby GT-H

For many of you, our posts about new cars are just fun to look at. Hey, we can’t all go out and buy a new Lambo, right? This car post, however, is worth paying closer attention to. Shelby American, Hertz, and Ford have teamed up to launch a special 50th Anniversary Edition Shelby GT-H “Rent-a-Racer,” and as the name would suggest, you don’t buy it—you rent it. The 140 cars will be available to rent exclusively at select Hertz airport locations starting Memorial Day weekend. Decked out in black with gold racing stripes, the Shelby features special badges and other touches that are an ode to the original “Rent-a-Racer” program from the 1960s. If you have trip scheduled for that holiday, go with this over the affordable sedan.
