The day of roadways filled with autonomous vehicles is inching closer. That doesn’t just mean personal vehicles, mind you; it also means things like tractor-trailers. Meet the Ford F-Vision, the automaker’s attempt at a self-driving, all-electric big rig. Unveiled at the Commercial Vehicle Show in Hannover, Germany, the truck was inspired by Marvel characters and the way they adapt to their environments. Details are scarce and the only video is in Turkish, but we can tell you the front end is reported to be interactive, meaning it can change designs and communications methods. Of course, this is all a concept, and whether or not Ford ever puts a truck like this on the highway remains to be seen. Still, with Tesla pushing forward in the space and others following suit, the day of the self-driving truck may be here sooner rather than later.
