FJ Company Aspen Project

There are plenty of people out there restoring vintage Toyotas, but the people at the FJ Company always set the bar a little higher. Joining the collection of the 1974 FJ45 Pickup Truck, 1967 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ45LV and the 1971 Toyota FJ43 is this 1982 FJ43 Aspen. Dubbed “The Aspen Project,” this full frame-off restoration was commissioned by the president of the FJ Company to be a purpose-built, family-friend beast that could tackle the everyday as well as the backcountry near Aspen. 210hp Toyota 1FZ engine with Haltech EFI. 5-speed manual transmission. Matte white paint job. Warn 8274 winch. PIAA 7″ LED fog lights. Custom roll cage. Recaro SPEED seats. Premium sound system with Bluetooth. It might have started as a vintage restoration, but the final product is a modern classic.
