You Can Now Buy Your Own ‘Eleanor’ Mustang Like the One in ‘Gone in 60 Seconds’

In the pantheon of great movie cars, Eleanor, the 1967 Shelby Mustang GT500 prized by Nicolas Cage’s character in 2000’s Gone in 60 Seconds, is right up there with Doc Brown’s DeLorean and anything Steve McQueen piloted. Now, if you have the cash, you can have your very own Eleanor. California’s Fusion Motor Company gained the right to sell officially licensed Eleanors. So what does that exactly mean? It means that, for a cool $189,ooo, the company will take a ’67 or ’68 Fastback, strip it down, and build it up to resemble the vehicle from the film. Almost every part of the Mustang is upgraded in the process, so you’re left with a Ford that will help out when you’re boosting other cars. We’re talking a 750 horsepower, carbon fiber rocket. Nicolas Cage would be proud.
