Droog Moto Kawasaki Z1000 ‘Moto 14’

We’ve covered plenty of stripped down, murdered out and mean bikes over the years, but none of them quite fit the same aesthetic you’ll find in a bike from Arizona-based Droog Moto. Described by the brand as “modern machines with a raw and industrial design” and by everyone else as something along the lines of “post-apocalyptic style,” each one of the dozen or so bikes Droog has produced blends their unique design with performance upgrades to create a vehicle that sounds and feels as good as it looks. Case in point, the Moto 14. It began life as a Kawasaki Z1000 that had all its plastic bits ripped off in favor of the sharp, angular lines of the new metal bodywork and a much more aggressive profile. It also got a custom subframe, fuel cell, fender, exhaust and seat, along with an upgraded suspension, different handlebars and LED lighting throughout. And unlike most of the other custom motorcycles that were one-off client builds, this bike is actually for sale, and the $18,000 price tag even includes free US shipping.
