Classic car insurance company Hagerty is taking their experience with drool-worthy automobiles to the next level with DriveShare, a service that lets you rent dream cars by the day in locations all across the United States. We’ve done luxury or classic car rentals on trips before, but the experience and the selection is nothing like what DriveShare is offering. While the site certainly has its fair share of Lamborghinis, Bimmers, Corvettes, Ferraris, and Porsches, it also has quite a few more obscure options you’re unlikely to find through other luxury rental sites. Are you near Minnetonka, MN, and want to tool around in a bright orange 1933 Ford Victoria? Yours for just under $300 a day. How about a ’55 Olds 88 sedan in two-tone green and white? There’s one available in South Jordan, UT. One of the coolest ’80s cars—the 1981 DeLorean DMC-12—is available for daily rentals in Jamul, California. They also have vehicles from MG, Ford, Triumph, Nissan, Audi and just about every other manufacturer that has ever produced a car you want to drive. Once you put down a $500 deposit and submit to a background check the car sharing service will give you access to almost 150 cars.
