There is an electric MINI Cooper already on the roads (well, a hybrid, at least), and it looks a lot like its gas-powered brethren. This all-electric MINI debuting at the New York International Auto Show is a throwback, modeled after the iconic British rides of old. While it’s simply a show car and not a model that will find its way into showrooms, the Classic MINI Electric is gorgeous, outfitted with rally lights and iconic stripes. The new-meets-old MINI is more to celebrate the brand’s foray into the all-electric world, as the automaker plans to release such a vehicle next year. While it won’t happen, we wish this were the model they were going with.
