With 1,500 bhp, speeds up to 260 mph and a $2.5 million price tag, the Bugatti Chiron is a worthy successor to the Veyron in every way. After a photo journey inside the Bugatti Chiron Factory though, the amount of work that goes into the creation of just one of these gorgeous machines might be more impressive than the machine itself. The Bugatti Atelier was revamped for production of the Chiron, and the end result is more fashion house than traditional automotive assembly operation. The bright white interior has everything the team of 20 people needs to spend an average of six months assembling the 1,800 parts to create hell on wheels. There’s a special conductive floor that dissipates electric charge. There’s a light tunnel where a certified team member inspects the finish for more than six hours. The dyno the car is tested on is the most powerful of its type in the world. It’s no surprise that they’d need these kind of modifications for the newest, fastest road car, but seeing the space is awe-inspiring.
