BMW Definition CE 04 Electric Scooter Concept

BMW Definition CE 04 Electric Scooter Concept

BMW scooters don’t exactly come to mind when you think about cool Bavarian two-wheelers. Beemers, as BMW motorcycles are nicknamed, are far more prominent than their clutchless versions. Now, the brand wants electrification to enter their scooter line with the Definition CE 04 concept, and the scooter look gets drastically altered, as a result. Based on the 2017 Concept Link scooter, the CE 04 doesn’t run on gas but an electric motor and low-mounted battery that provides a more ideal center of gravity. Less about horsepower and more about utility and storage, the CE 04 sweet spot is short-range rides. It will also focus on connectivity and tech. It will have a huge 10.25-inch digital instrument display, much like ones found in their cars, and it will provide key vehicle data as well as connect to the rider’s smartphone for important notifications. The CE 04 concept will give birth to a production model, but final design and details have yet to be fleshed out. It’s one scooter we wouldn’t be embarrassed to ride.
