It’s looking less and less probable that Back to the Future correctly predicted the 2015 World Series champions—even the greatest prognosticators couldn’t have seen Daniel Murphy coming—but that doesn’t mean everything from the movie failed to come to fruition. For Back to the Future Day (aka “today”), Toyota turned a 2016 Tacoma into Marty’s 1985 black pickup truck from the film. Yes, the DeLorean is the car, but this is a pretty cool move on Toyota’s part. There are no plans for a production run, but you can see it at certain locations around the country today.
