Briggs Automotive Company (they like to be called BAC) is the British manufacturer of the Mono, a single seat supercar that provides an almost unparalleled driving and design experience. First of all, the dream car is gorgeous. Jeremy Clarkson agrees: “When you stand back that’s one of the most exciting shapes I’ve ever seen.” 0-60 in under 3 seconds. Top speed of 170 mph. 525 bhp per ton. Naturally aspirated 2.5L four-cylinder. All of that performance is packed into a vehicle that weighs less than 1,300lbs, so it should come as no surprise that it’s the fastest car ever tested by evo Magazine at the Anglesey Coastal Circuit. It doesn’t have a windshield, but we’d be willing to wear a helmet to put in some laps on a track in the new BAC Mono.
