We’re not sure if the new F/AR bike from Norwegian startup Fara Cycling qualifies as a gravel bike, but it’s meant to take on mixed surfaces like a boss. The brand calls it the ultimate adventure bike, and we’d have to agree. The F/AR has a new sleek but rugged full carbon frame with custom attachment points, a custom waterproof Roswheel bikepacking bag, and a special Fidlock attachment system and frame that eliminates the need for straps. Like any good gravel bike, the front and rear fork clearance can manage up to 700C x 38mm tires with room for fenders, too. Finally, all cabling is routed internally, so there’s minimal encumbrance and ample space for a front-mounted bag. You can make a $1,200 deposit now for one of the coolest bikes on earth that can just so happen to roam most of it.
