Born in 2013 based on a creative project developed by Spanish designer and photographer Yago Partal, Zoo Portraits dress animals like people. The combination of photography, design and fashion transforms sheep into chefs, red river hogs in professors, ocelots into fashion models, domestic pigeons into black tie attendees, and that’s just the start when it comes to the animals and their costumes. Each of the designs is available on prints, phones cases, tees, sweatshirts, postcards and even wrapping paper. The entire Zoo Portraits project is designed as an educational data resource for the fauna on the site, along with raising awareness and increasing support for the animals.
