The Stormtrooper Blaster from the Star Wars films might never end up on a list of badass movie weapons because they’re incapable of hitting anything and overshadowed by the brilliance that is the lightsaber. But that doesn’t mean they’re not iconic in their own right. If you’re a big enough fan with deep enough pockets, you can own one of the actual E-11 blaster rifles used during the filming of Star Wars: A New Hope. As the story goes, these prop rifles (they don’t actually shoot laser beams, but you probably knew that) were created by renowned armorers Bapty. After filming wrapped, they ended up back at Bapty where they would remain for many years. This one was discovered stripped of various parts, so the experts at The Prop Store carefully restored it to its former glory with a number of parts ranging from a resin M38 scope and Hengstler counter box. The only caveat with this sweet piece of movie memorabilia is the fact it’s going to set you back more than $46k if you want it in your collection.
