The penthouse at the Ritz this is not. But, for the thrillseeker on a jaunt through Peru, it might be even better. The Natura Vive Skylodge is a set of three glass capsules situated on the tall cliffs of the Sacred Valley of Cuzco, Peru. To get to them, you have to climb 400 feet up the mountain or take a trail filled with zip-lines. And while you won’t be greeted with a freestanding tub to soak your bones when you reach your temporary pad, you will take in some of the most incredible views you’ve ever encountered… even when you look straight down. The series of three units can hold up to 8 people, and each features windows, ventilation ducts, a sectioned off bathroom with toilet and sink, interior lighting, and one nightmare-infused night’s sleep.
