While in Stockholm for the launch of Volvo’s new XC90, we took some time to peruse the Scandinavian design shops that litter the streets of the Swedish city. While many of these stores and studios contain the same minimal aesthetic you’d expect from the Ikean utopia, there’s one where you can go if you want to take a battering ram of color to your eyeballs that you won’t find elsewhere.
Svenskt Tenn was founded in 1924 and still features designs from Josef Frank and Estrid Ericson. What you’ll find in the shop is a slew of lamps, tables, throw pillows, and other home goods decked out in wild patterns. Here’s a few of the funkiest.
