The Craighill Tycho Puzzle Will Change the Way You Kill Time

Brooklyn-based product design studio Craighill has always impressed with their unique offerings, attention to detail and high-end construction. As much as we love their bracelets, knives, key rings and other EDC goods, it’s their unconventional desktop puzzles that have always intrigued us most. Craighill’s Venn Puzzle and Jack Puzzle are both great options if you’re looking for a way to kill a little time between conference calls, meetings, presentation and, well, actual work, but we’re more excited about the new Tycho Puzzle that they just launched on Kickstarter. Unlike their previous mechanical puzzles, the Tycho puzzle is built with a combination of eight total pieces, four pieces each made from stainless steel and brass, so it has a unique two-tone exterior. In addition to that, the final cube form hides a tiny interior cavity you can use for storage and the 1.8″ cube has an assembled weight of a hefty 1.5lbs. It’s safe to say this is one desktop toy and/or paperweight you’ll never grow tired of.
