In the world of man, names are very important. McClane. Rambo. Matrix. Firesteel. Ok, so maybe Firesteel isn’t a character from a famous Willis, Stallone or Schwarzenegger movie, but it should be because it’s pretty damn manly. It’s also the name of the stick originally developed for the Swedish DoD that starts fires. Presumably it’s also made of steel – hence the name. But sounding awesome and creating fire are just the tip of the iceberg with this thing. It will light a fire in any weather, at any altitude. The spark it creates is 3000 degrees Celsius. According to Google, the outer layer of the sun is 6000 degrees Celsius. Think about that for a minute. You can start a fire with half the power of the sun. It also comes in three different handle colors in case having half the temperature of the sun in your pocket doesn’t outweigh matching accessories.
