There’s just something about a big pile of flaming human skulls in your backyard firepit that sends the perfect message to your friends, family and neighbors. If that kind of sheer terror is something you’re interested in, look no further than these fireproof human skull logs. Each skull is “about the size of an adult skull” (that’s 8-9″ long and 6.5-7.5″ wide, in case you were curious) and made with a steel-reinforced interior, lava granules and a high-heat refractory ceramic material that the company says is the same type that NASA tests rockets on. All these factors mean the skulls are weather-resistant, heavy enough to stay put and rated for up to 3000-degrees Fahrenheit. Each skull is handmade in California and finished with a white, black or brown five step hand-painting process. They’re definitely not cheap, but no other “logs” are going to give your guests the same reaction when you set them on fire.
