No road trip is complete with out a few bags of beef jerky. Luckily, the whole artisanal movement has hit the dried beef sector in a big way. Skip the truck stop stuff and check out Side Project Jerky’s latest flavor offering, Cowboy. The flavor is an ode to cooking on the Texas panhandle and tastes both earthy and spicy. To create the flavor, the fellars used Rival Bros Whistle & Cuss double-brewed espresso blend along with some guajillo chiles. Even if you’re jumping in your Ford and not on a horse’s back, we’d recommend picking some up for your travels.
