Although upon first glance, the Bubble Palace might look like an adobe playground on steroids, it’s actually quite the luxurious compound. Purchased in 1992 by recently deceased French fashion designer Pierre Cardin, it’s now up for sale. Located in the south of France, the Antti Lovag-designed residence is essentially a bunch of connected bubble-shaped living spaces. There are a whopping 10 bedrooms decorated by modern artists, a swimming pool, ponds, a 500-seat outdoor auditorium that faces the Mediterranean, and hopefully a building plan map somewhere. Lush interior furnishings and materials make it a perfect villain’s lair or just a great place to escape annoying straight lines. $355 million, and it can all be yours.
