Michelangelo claimed he would look at a piece of marble, see the carving in it and simply proceed to set it free. It’s kinda the same way we look at something as simplistic as a wooden pallet. We could rip those suckers apart and craft something way more useful than a stone angel (Cool Material – 1, Michelangelo – 0). These Pallet Chairs are a fine example of the rustic brilliance that can be had from something as boring as a shipping pallet. The body of each chair is pine, all the legs are oak and in a past life they supported things far heavier than you (apologies to any sumo wrestlers reading). Leave ’em out on the deck or bring them inside for the winter as you warm up by your antique wood burning stove.
