Chess is a game of endless possibilities, three possible outcomes and more skill than just about anything else we can possibly think of. We love the idea of playing a game of chess regularly, but in our experience it often leads to spilled beers and tables slammed out of frustration. Ok, cards on the table, we’re not all that fantastic at chess anymore, but we still enjoy the game. But in a small living space, leaving a board set up all the time eats up valuable space. This chess set from Nonessentials is fantastic in that it’s incredibly well designed, stores flat (the pieces store flat inside the board) and is also a puzzle. The wood that it’s made out of is available in five colors, which means you can customize to fit whatever space you plan on using it in.
