Yes, the email service gloriously mispronounced at the start of every episode of Serial is making playing cards. And while the idea seems a bit odd, we have to admit that the cards are super slick. In collaboration with Fuzzco and theory11, the deck of playing cards feature a totally custom design with thin boarders in either red or black. Every court card received a primate redesign, and the backs feature a stylish web of bananas and vines. Mailchimp is even donating 100% of the proceeds to the Fugees Family who work with child survivors of war. So, yes, the collaboration is strange, but we can’t knock the results.
