Cider is enjoying a moment right now. If you don’t want to jump on the bandwagon, however, since it’s usually low in alcohol and often tastes like licking a sugar cube, good ole JD has come to the rescue. Jack Daniel’s Winter Jack is a seasonal release that blends apple cider liqueur, the brand’s classic whiskey and some seasonal spices for a tasty, cold-weather beverage. At 15% alcohol, it doesn’t have much of a boozy backbone but it will remind you a lot of apple pie and vanilla with a little bit of oakiness to it. Warm some up, knock some back and you won’t need a blanket for a cool night.
