IKEA e-Sports Furniture Collection

IKEA e-Sports Furniture Collection

While the Swedish furniture and housewares titan will continue to make incredibly frustrating DIY-assembly pieces, they’ve now moved into an area we can totally get behind: gaming furniture. Yes, IKEA just released its first line of e-sports furniture that will help you get your gaming on. There are four sets of desks and corresponding chairs that range from subtly stylish to hardcore gaming aesthetics. They include white, black, and grey coloring options, accessories such as charging docks, ventilation panels, adjustable pegboards for accessories, and even shelving for gaming gear and related tchotchkes. IKEA worked with Republic of Gamers (ROG) to create the Uppspel range of furniture. The Uppspel desk even has USB charging, cable routing, beveled edges, and motorized height adjustability, so gamers can optimize their sitting or standing position. The collection spans a wide price range, so even budget gamers can get something dedicated to their craft. The line is available via IKEA China right now, but the brand will expand these wares globally in the months to come.
