Hiller Dry Goods Currency Blankets

Hiller Dry Goods, a company established in the early 1900s and revived recently by the founder’s great-great-grandson, has just released a collection of blankets that get their aesthetics from a fairly unique place. They’re based on banknotes. Though it might not look like it at first—at least not for some—each blanket in the nine blanket collection features a design that’s part of a country’s currency. The U.S. one is a zoomed in image of the $100 bill, with Ben Franklin’s cheek seen up close. Other bills are pulled from Argentina, Australia, Uganda, and more. The 100% cotton blankets are woven in North Carolina and measure 52″ x 70″ each, meaning they make a nice throw for the couch or your favorite reading chair.
