Gin, for the longest time, has been used primarily in mixed drinks. Beefeater is looking to change that with their Burrough’s Reserve Barrel Aged Gin. This isn’t your standard GnT ingredient, it’s meant to by sipped neat as a delicious nightcap. The gin is amber in color thanks to the Jean de Lillet oak barrels, and has a more pronounced sweetness than your standard Beefeater gin. The gin is distilled in a small copper still from the 19th century and has a complexity that still lets the juniper shine through. Looks like our standard whiskey rotation just got a new friend.
