Doing It Yourself isn’t always the easiest or cheapest option, but odds are you won’t find anything more satisfying than finishing a DIY project with your own two hands. Each week, we’re going to showcase one cool DIY project tutorial from around the web.
When it comes to coffee, everyone has a favorite brew. It might vary based on convenience, availability or location, but we’re not alone when we say we’d be absolutely useless without our morning cup (or pot). Keurigs and Nespressos are great, but they don’t bring the increased flavor, or cool factor, of pour over. Ben Uyeda from HomeMade Modern took it upon himself to make the entire process easy for those of us unfamiliar with pour over at home by creating a step-by-step guide to make a copper coffee maker. He even provided links for the filters and funnel you’ll need to make the whole thing work. The hardest part of this project is probably deciding what coffee to brew first.
