Of all the goodies at CES, the Chefjet 3D Printer was probably the one we wanted to sneak back on the plane with us the most. It’s a game changer. The series of printers (one is a monochrome, countertop version and the other is a Pro model designed for professional pastry chefs) print 3D edible sweets that look like works of art. The printable materials come in a range of flavors (we tasted chocolate, sour apple, and mint and each tasted like a slightly more granular Pixy Stix . . . meaning they’re delicious) and each Chefjet comes with a digital cookbook so you can master the device. No exact pricing yet, but the countertop version should come in below $5,000 and the Pro below $10,000. The only issue: The desserts look so good you don’t want to eat them.
