We’ve seen quite a few turnkey-ready cabins that allow you to setup an off-the-grid rental or personal retreat wherever you have space. Design firm Livit and their new Birdbox Adventure Cabins are some of our favorite options because of their unique combination of minimalist design and understated luxury. Available in either Birdbox Mini or Birdbox Medi sizes, each cabin includes a bed, storage space, wool lined walls, a muted color palette and enormous glass viewing windows to take in your surroundings. That last part is particularly important because as Asbjørn Reksten Stigedal, CEO of Livit, told Designboom: “Birdboxes will be located across the country where you get a new experience in every place you visit. We are creating an offer where we can showcase our country from its best side where one can experience Norway through Birdbox.” What better way to experience the Fjords and mountain ranges of Norway than with an intimate cabin and picturesque views? There are currently two different Birdbox cabins available for rent–a Birdbox Mini at Fauske, Førde for around $200/night and a Birdbox Medi at Langeland, Førde for around $300/night.
