Roald Dahl had many cool artifacts in his writing hut, but the most iconic was the flexible 1930’s Anglepoise desk light. In 2005, the Roald Dahl Museum & Story Centre commissioned a triple scale version of the same lamp as a reference to the Big Friendly Giant Character, and the Original 1227 Giant floor lamp was born. The Original 1227 Giant Collection has been re-engineered for the outdoors with a marine-grade stainless fittings, sealed light units and a durable silicone rubber cable to bring the flexible floor lamp and articulated wall light to decks, terraces and patios the world over. With over a dozen different colors (including custom color options) it’s the perfect addition to any gathering place or office space (no one said you couldn’t also use them inside).
