We’re going to be completely honest, we don’t religiously follow Formula 1 racing. We usually stumble upon it while flipping through channels aimlessly and each time we do we say the same thing, “Huh, the Speed channel. Have we always had this?” Then we sit mesmerized for an hour barely remembering to sip the beer in our hand. In celebration of this year’s World Championships, PJ Tierney an Irish designer, churned out a poster a day for each of the 19 races. The posters definitely have a current feel to them but at the same time are reminiscent of F1 prints we’ve seen in offices and guy designed game rooms throughout our lives. We’re definitely digging Italy and Japan as our faves but wouldn’t hesitate tossing any of these up. Now, only if we had that Speed channel.
