Ralph Lauren’s first New York restaurant is a throwback. It harkens back to a time when fine dining was elegant and dishes were classic. It’s the kind of restaurant that has slowly faded from the New York City scene. The Polo Bar, Ralph Lauren’s third restaurant, is inspired by sport (not a shocker when you consider the brand). Inside you’ll find saddle leather, equestrian artwork, and a polo match-inspired piece by Henry Koehler. The food is inspired by some of Ralph Lauren’s personal favorites. That means, while elegant, you’ll still find a corned beef sandwich and some crabcakes. The Polo Bar is located on East 55th street and worthy of a nice night out.
