The whole hoopla surrounding every day being “National Some-Kind-Of-Food Day” is all a bit ridiculous, but that’s the world we live in these days. This Saturday is National Mustard Day which is even more ridiculous because mustard isn’t even a food, but whatever, bring on the shenanigans. Popular ice cream brand Coolhaus (in all seriousness, they do some crazy innovative stuff in the world of frozen treats) teamed up with French’s Mustard to create Mustard Ice Cream in honor of this Saturday’s “holiday.” The bright yellow frozen dessert is being served with a pretzel cookie from now through the end of the weekend at Coolhaus locations in New York and California. If you can’t make it one of the Coolhaus locations to try the colorful creation yourself, no worries! French’s published a recipe on their site (get it here) so you can make it at home yourself.
