From the multi-colored depictions of Marilyn Monroe and the varied Campbell’s Soup cans to, well, everything else he created, it’s not difficult to argue that Andy Warhol is one of the most prolific American artists that has ever lived. Where’s Warhol? is Catharine Ingram and Andrew Rae’s play on the familiar Where’s Waldo? hardcover book that we all grew up reading in school, at the dentist’s office and at home. This time, rather than searching for a man in a red-striped shirt and a beanie, you’re searching for Warhol as he travels through time visiting the art of the past. From Michelangelo at work on the Sistine Chapel to Jean-Michel Basquait painting the streets of New York, each page was painstakingly recreated from Ingram’s research and illustrated by Rae.
