The Men Who Stare At Goats is an unbelievable comedy about secret government psychic spies that happens to be true… or at least based on a true story. This political satire walks a line between hilarious and grim as it highlights major problems with corporate greed and corruption in the military. There’s something a little predictable but nonetheless enjoyable about Jeff Bridges playing a stoner, Kevin Spacey playing a villain and Ewan McGregor playing the likable underdog—however there is a surprise in George Clooney’s convincing performance of as less than sane psychic spy.
